| Description: | Norborne R-VIII School District is seeking applicants for a 5th Grade Teacher position in our Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking a candidate with a passion for student excellence and for making a positive difference in a child’s life. The successful candidate must be able to implement engaging classroom instruction, develop effective classroom management using Positive Behavior Intervention and Support, integrate technology into the learning environment, possess strong communication skills, and build positive relationships with students, parents, and the community. Students are one-to-one with Chromebooks, and teachers have interactive panels and laptops. The district provides classroom teachers with numerous resources to support instruction and increase student achievement. Candidates should have a working knowledge of Professional Learning Communities and Missouri Learning Standards. Norborne Elementary School educates approximately 80 students in grades preschool through 5th Grade. A bachelor’s degree and applicable certification are required. | |
