| Description: | he Richmond R-XVI School District is accepting applications for a Middle School Reading Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will have proper Missouri certification. Preferred criteria include: teaching experience, reading certificate, experience in the use and analysis of data. The Reading teacher is responsible for providing direct instruction to students, individually or in small groups, to enable students to develop literacy skills. The teacher will work to improve literacy through reading, writing and speaking. In addition, the Reading teacher will carry out the district-wide plan to improve the reading achievement of all students assigned. This commitment will include attending professional development, collecting data, collaboration with teachers, and providing feedback to the principal and district reading team.
