Apply at www.nianguaschools.com. Job Description: The Niangua R-5 School District is seeking to hire an ELA Teacher for the 2022-23 School year. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To create a flexible instructional program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth. To establish effective rapport with students assigned to the classroom. To motivate pupils to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure that effective learning occurs for each child, every day. Provides positive feedback and encouragement for students. Facilitates an environment that promotes improved oral and written English skills, academic success, social growth, and well-being of all students. Organizes and uses a variety of teaching techniques, strategies, materials, and technology to maximize the learning of each child, individually and in group settings. Assesses student progress, provides students and parents with specific feedback, and uses the results to adjust instruction as needed; serves as a communication link between school and home. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervising administrators. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelors Degree or higher in the major area of study Certification: Valid Missouri Teaching Certificate Effective oral and written communication skills. Salary is dependent upon experience and level of education. | |
