| Description: | The Mountain Grove R-III School District is seeking applications for a high school special education teacher for the 2022-23 school year to work with students who have a range of disabilities at the secondary level. The position provides direct specialized instruction for small groups as well as collaborates with staff/individuals to support students within the co-teaching environment. The position requires knowledge of and ability to implement core instruction which actively engages students in meaningful learning experiences. Individuals must possess strong classroom management skills to maintain effective learning environments. Individuals must develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEP) and establish effective relationships with parents and students. Applicants must have cross categorical special education certification or another acceptable special education certification or be eligible for consideration for employment.
