| Description: | Dallas County R-1 School is currently seeking a Special Education Teacher, with cross categorical certification for the 2022-2023 school year. Applicant may be responsible for managing a caseload of middle school students, implementing IEP's, providing core instruction on a variety of levels, and completing required paperwork. The applicant should have a strength in reading instruction and passion to improve reading for students. The teacher will use classroom and state testing data to drive instruction in the classroom. The applicant will need to understand the special education process and state compliance for special education. The applicant will need to be able to collaborate effectively with other district team members, analyze data, and communicate regularly with parents.
