| Description: | Position: Preschool Teacher Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in elementary education with certification in early childhood education. Experience preferred Must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the Board of Education. Good verbal and written communication skills Performance Responsibilities: Acts as a responsible agent for the direct instruction of students and is knowledgeable of early childhood education. Maintains updated written lesson plans. Conducts assigned activities from the preschool director and/or board of education Follows the early childhood education curriculum guide Provides effective home-school communication Uses a variety of instructional techniques. Provides feedback to the parents on the progress of their child. Provides appropriate supervision of students on the campus. Maintains confidentiality of students and their families Performs other duties as assigned at the request of the preschool director or superintendent of schools. Acts in a professional manner at all times. Expected to conduct themselves as a representative of the Willard R-II School District.
