| Description: | Pleasant Hope R-6 School District is actively seeking applicants for the position of Head Volleyball Coach. The ideal candidate would be able to take over a program with high expectations of the student-athletes and set strong expectations for the success of the program from the high school all the way down through middle school and communicating with elementary programs and being directly involved in all aspects of the program. Pleasant Hope High School is looking for a candidate who can coordinate and run the summer program in the summer 2021 with anticipated hire as soon as a qualified applicant is found. There will be possible teaching openings available for the applicant, but the head coach is not required to be a teacher in our district as an option. Pleasant Hope participates in the Southwest Conference with the following schools, Ash Grove, Diamond, Lockwood, Marionville, Miller, Pierce City, Sarcoxie, and Stockton. Pleasant Hope has won over 20 matches each of the past two years, graduated two seniors and have placed in the top three of the conference each of the past two years. The qualified applicant will have the ability to help select assistant coaches to help fill their staff.
