Description:  The Seymour R-II School District is seeking a dedicated Secondary Special Education Resource Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to provide specialized instruction in English Language Arts and Mathematics for students with disabilities in grades 8–12. We are a four-day school district that values meaningful relationships, strong collaboration, and a supportive school community. We believe students thrive when educators build trust, maintain high expectations, and work closely with families. This position includes instructional and case management responsibilities and ensures services are delivered in compliance with state and federal regulations. Caseload and instructional schedule will be determined annually based on student needs and district programming. Qualifications include a valid Missouri Special Education certification appropriate for secondary students, knowledge of IDEA and special education compliance requirements, and strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
