| Description: | The Couch R-I School District is seeking applicants for the position of Pre-K- 6th grade Principal and Special Education Director for the 2026-2027 school year. The principal is responsible for educational leadership and student development for approximately 100 students and the accountability for instructional leadership for 15 staff members and support staff. The applicant must possess a strong understanding and application of curriculum development, technology integration, school and community relations and best-practices. Couch R-I is a small community school with a strong history of success. We are looking for a candidate that will invest in the community through our students and become an active member of the community. The applicant must be able to work together in a team environment and build strong relationships with teachers, students and the community.
