| Description: | The Crocker R-II School District is seeking a dedicated and accountable leader to serve as the High School Boys Basketball Coach for the 2026–2027 school year. This individual will be responsible for leading and developing a competitive program built on discipline, effort, and teamwork. The coach will plan and conduct practices, organize game preparation, and develop player skills while maintaining high expectations for student-athletes both on and off the court. The position requires building strong relationships with players, promoting accountability, and creating a culture that reflects pride in the program and school. Responsibilities include supervising athletes, maintaining equipment, coordinating with the Athletic Director, and communicating clearly with players, families, and staff. The coach will also support multi-sport participation and contribute to the overall success of the athletic program. The ideal candidate will be organized, consistent, and committed to student growth while representing the district in a positive and professional manner. Strong communication skills and the ability to build a structured, team-oriented environment are expected. Opportunities may exist to combine this position with teaching and/or athletic director duties based on qualifications. | |
