| Description: | The Crocker R-II School District is seeking a motivated and organized professional to serve as a Middle/High School Physical Education Teacher and Athletic Director for the 2026–2027 school year. This individual will be responsible for promoting student learning in physical education while leading and managing all aspects of the district’s athletic programs. In the classroom, the teacher will deliver standards-based instruction aligned to the Missouri Learning Standards, promote physical fitness and healthy habits, and maintain a structured and engaging learning environment. The candidate will build positive relationships with students and create a setting that encourages participation and growth. As Athletic Director, this individual will oversee all athletic programs and work to build a culture of pride, accountability, and sportsmanship. Responsibilities include scheduling contests, supervising coaches, ensuring compliance with MSHSAA requirements, managing equipment and facilities, and maintaining clear communication with students, families, staff, and the community. The position requires strong organization, time management, and communication skills, as well as the ability to balance instructional responsibilities with athletic leadership duties. A visible presence at school events and a commitment to student success across academics and activities is expected. The ideal candidate will be consistent, accountable, and team-oriented, with a focus on building strong programs and positive relationships throughout the district.
