Description:  Immediate opening. Substitute Nurse ( LPN/RN) position for the Laquey School District. The substitute nurse will provide direct healthcare services including but not limited to first aid, managing health conditions, screenings, administering medications, reviewing immunization and health records. Experience with pediatrics and chronic health conditions (i.e. asthma, allergies, and type 1 diabetes) is preferred. We are a proud Purple Star School District, dedicated to supporting our military-connected families and students. While our physical campus maintains a close-knit community feel with approximately 600 students and 100 dedicated staff members across three buildings, we also have a virtual school. Our innovative virtual school serves an additional 3,500 students across the state. We have a 21st Century Grant program—which features cutting-edge activities like drone soccer and robotics—to our diverse athletic offerings, Laquey is a place where tradition meets high-tech innovation. With our school year calendar students attend approximately 150 days a year.
