| Description: | The Missouri Association of Rural Education has been retained by the Bismarck R-V Board of Education to conduct a search for their next Superintendent of Schools. Bismarck R-V School District is located in St. Francois County (Bismarck) in Southeast Missouri. School District Information: Elementary Schools - 1 (PK-05) o Certified Staff 20 o Student Enrollment 198 High School (06-12) o Certified Staff - 22 o Student Enrollment - 212 Annual Operating Budget $ 6,500,000.00 Total Tax Levy - $4.1627 ($.8400 Debt Service included) Assessed Valuation - $38,509,103.00 Reserve Balances 32.7% Administrators 4 Support Staff 30 MSIP: Fully Accredited District Operated Transportation District Contracted Food Service - Opaa! Food Management Other Programs: o Parents as Teachers Program/ECSE Program o FBLA, Industrial Arts o A+ Program/Dual Enrollment o Online Courses Offered - Edgenuity o PLC District o Unitec Career Center Application Time Line: Applications must be received by Wednesday, February 26, 2026 by 5:00 p.m. Screening to begin Ongoing during the application period Interviews Tentative Date Thursday, March 5, 2026 Anticipated Contract Offer Date Thursday, March 5, 2026 Contract Begins July 1, 2026 Salary/Benefits Information: Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salary Range: $125,000-$150,000. Administrative experience required/ Central Office administrative experience preferred. Missouri Superintendents Certificate or eligibility thereof required. Board paid health insurance benefits. Initial multi-year contract will be considered District residency is not required.
