| Description: | Cabool High School Head Football Coach The Cabool R-IV School District is seeking highly qualified candidates with appropriate certification for the position of Head Football Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. Cabool High School is a member of the competitive SCA conference. The Head Football Coach leads the football program with a focus on athletic excellence, character development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic success. The coach will plan, organize, and supervise all aspects of the program in alignment with district policies and state athletic association regulations. Key Responsibilities: -Organize and lead practices, games, and off-season programs -Develop team strategies and player development plans -Supervise assistant coaches and support staff -Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork -Ensure compliance with district and athletic association policies Qualifications: -Previous football coaching experience preferred -Strong leadership and organizational skills -Ability to mentor student-athletes on and off the field -CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain Other coaching, teaching, and administrative positions currently available: Head Boys Track, Head Girls Basketball, In-School Suspension, Athletic Director Cabool follows a 4 day a week schedule with Mondays off. | |
