| Description: | The Cabool R-IV School District is seeking highly qualified candidates with appropriate certification for the position of Head Girls Basketball Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. Cabool High School is a member of the competitive SCA conference. The Head Girls Basketball Coach leads the girls basketball program promoting athletic excellence, emphasizing skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and academic success. The coach will plan, organize, and supervise all aspects of the program in alignment with district policies and state athletic association regulations. Key Responsibilities: -Plan and conduct practices and competitions -Develop athletes’ technical and strategic basketball skills -Supervise assistant coaches and student-athletes -Promote positive behavior and academic accountability -Ensure compliance with district and athletic association rules Qualifications: -Previous coaching experience preferred Knowledge of basketball fundamentals and -player development -Ability to mentor and motivate student-athletes -CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain Other coaching, teaching, and administrative positions currently available: In-School Suspension, and Athletic Director Cabool follows a 4 day a week schedule with Mondays off. | |
