| Description: | The Exceptional Child Education Cooperative (ECEC) has an opening for an Early Childhood Special Education teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates will be required to work as an itinerant teacher serving early childhood special education students. The ECEC Cooperative serves eleven schools in South Central Missouri. Candidates will be expected to hold appropriate certification. Job duties include: understanding and implementing initial evaluation procedures, attending staffing meetings, writing IEPs, and working closely with cooperating school districts as well as Cooperative staff. The preferred candidate will have a deep compassion for young children, will be a team player, have a strong understanding of special education procedures, will be a self-starter, and be willing to travel. Salary range: $40,000-$64,050. Nine-month contract with full-time benefit package. | |
