| Description: | The Glenwood R-8 School District in West Plains, MO is accepting applications for a PK-8 Physical Education Teacher and Athletic Director for the 2026-2027 school year. Glenwood is a rural, community-based K-8 school with small class sizes and a total population of approximately 250 students. A successful candidate for this position will be able to provide high quality instruction aligned to the Missouri Learning Standards, provide a positive learning environment for students, and demonstrate a proactive approach to classroom management. Coaching positions potentially include, but are not limited to, boys basketball, baseball, cross country, and track. Candidates should have or be able to obtain appropriate certification. Glenwood does offer career ladder. This position is open until filled.
