Description:  Missouri Association of Rural Education has been retained by the Osage Co. R-III Board of Education to conduct a search for their next Superintendent of Schools. Osage Co. R-III School District is located in Osage County (Westphalia) in South Central Missouri. School District Information: Elementary PK-05 – 2 Schools Certified Staff – 39 Student Enrollment – 310 High School 07-12 Certified Staff – 44 Student Enrollment - 450 Annual Operating Budget – $11,197,415.00 Total Tax Levy - $4.0838 Assessed Valuation - $119,894,811.00 Reserve Balances – 37.15% Administrators - 5 Support Staff – 46 MSIP: Accredited District Operated Transportation District Contracted Food Service Other Programs: A+ Program/Dual Credit Courses with Lincoln University & State Technical College Parents as Teachers Program New High School Building Completion Date – July 2025 Strong Academic, Athletic & Extra-Curricular Traditions Career & Technical Education Classes Offered in District Application Time Line: • Applications must be received by – Monday, November 4, 2024 • Screening to begin – Ongoing throughout the process • Interviews Tentative Date – November 11-15, 2024 • Anticipated Hire Date – Wednesday, November 20, 2025 • Contract Begins – July 1, 2025 Salary/Benefits Information: • Salary commensurate with qualifications & experience with a Salary Range - $105,000-$130,000. • Administrative experience required. Central Office administrative experience preferred. • Missouri Superintendent’s Certificate or eligibility thereof required. • Board paid insurance benefits including health and life. • Two-year contract will be offered. • District residency is required within one year of employment.
