| Description: | Elementary Specials Teacher (Art, Library, & Computers) Rushville Elementary School Rushville Elementary School is seeking an energetic, creative, and student-centered educator to join our team! This unique position works with a wide range of grade levels and plays a vital role in enriching our students’ learning experiences. Position Overview The Elementary Specials Teacher will provide engaging instruction in: *Art for Kindergarten through 2nd Grade *Library for Kindergarten through 6th Grade *Computer Skills for Kindergarten through 6th Grade This role is perfect for someone who loves variety, enjoys working with children of all ages, and brings enthusiasm into every lesson. Key Responsibilities *Plan and deliver age-appropriate, interactive lessons in art, library/media skills, and computer fundamentals *Foster creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning in a safe and positive environment *Teach basic technology skills, digital citizenship, and responsible computer use *Promote literacy skills and a love of reading through library instruction and activities *Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to support student learning *Maintain organized and inviting classroom, library, and computer lab spaces *Supervise students and manage classrooms effectively across grade levels Qualifications Teaching certification (or ability to obtain certification), preferred Experience working with elementary-aged children *Strong classroom management and communication skills *Comfortable using technology and teaching basic computer skills *Creative, flexible, and enthusiastic personality *Passion for helping students grow academically and socially Why Rushville Elementary?
