| Description: | The South Holt R-1 School District in Oregon, MO is seeking a highly qualified K-12 Counselor for the 2026-27 school year. The South Holt R-1 School District serves about 250 students in grades K-12. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting student's academic growth, social emotional development and post secondary planning. This position plays a critical role in fostering a positive school climate, collaborating with staff and families and ensuring that every student has the support they need to succeed and thrive. Job Requirements: Scheduling, career plans, dual credit coordination, A+ Coordinator, student advisor, help students with scholarships and college applications, assist with new student enrollment and student records, and counsel groups/individuals. Maintain accurate records and uphold ethical standards of the counseling profession. Strong communication skills and ability to work as an individual and as a team member desired. Ability to support initiatives that strengthen school culture, student well being and positive behavior. Qualifications: Valid Missouri teaching certificate with School Counselor certification (K-12 or 7-12) or being able to become certified. Masters degree in School Counseling or related field. Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. | |
