| Description: | The Putnam County R-I School District is currently seeking applicants to fill a teaching vacancy in our High School/Middle School Physical Education department. The open position is for Middle School/High School gym teacher. A commitment to high-quality professional development is essential. Administering formative assessments to make instructional decisions, communicating with parents and other team members about student progress, and planning for further instruction are all expectations of the successful applicant. Implementation of all aspects of Professional Learning Communities is expected as knowledge of the PLC process is highly beneficial to students. We are a Google school, so integrating technology into teaching and professional activities is also an expectation. Coaching is a possibility with this position and we currently have an opening for Head Varsity Football Coach. The successful applicant will hold a valid Missouri teaching certificate appropriate for the position.
