| Description: | Missouri Military Academy is seeking an outstanding educational and instructional leader for the position of Assistant Academic Dean, starting the 1st of August, for the 2021-2022 school year. The ideal candidate is a licensed teacher and/or administrator with a master’s degree in education, administration or related discipline. Candidates must have at least five years of teaching experience with a strong background in curriculum and instruction. Applicants must demonstrate a mastery of current pedagogy for 7th-12th grades. A commitment to relational teaching and to the academic, social and emotional growth of young men is essential. The ideal candidate would possess excellent administrative, planning, organizational and communication skills and be able to successfully work with parents, colleagues, company leadership advisors, coaches, administration, and cadets in a professional manner. Candidates are expected to embrace our military educational model based on structure, self-discipline, and accountability. They should be realistic and excited about the demands, challenges, and rewards of working in a military boarding school “family like” environment. The salary for this position is competitive and based on education, certifications, experience, and demonstrated job skills related to the qualification requirements.
