| Description: | The Scott County Central School District is accepting applications for the position of a Junior High Special Education Teacher for the 2021-22 academic year. The Special Education Junior High Teacher is responsible for providing support to the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibility for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas; developing lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students’ parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in the areas of teaching assignment; Valid Missouri Teacher Certificate; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Skills in human relations, leadership and conflict management; Knowledgeable of teaching techniques that meet the diverse needs of students.
