| Description: | East Prairie RII School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of High School Counselor (grades 9-12) for 2023-24 schoolyear. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply with preference given to properly certified candidates. The position is a 180 day position with 15 extra contract days added. Duties will include counseling students, scheduling students, and maintaining student records pertinent to graduation requirements. Creating four-year plans with all high school students, while supporting students in their college and career exploration. Provide positive communication as a liaison with community agencies and refer students and parents to outside resources when necessary.
