| Description: | Tarkio R-I is accepting applications for elementary openings for the 2023-2024 school year. Tarkio Elementary is a PK-5 school that offers small class sizes with an average student/teacher ratio of 13:1 or less. The ideal candidate would be familiar with Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and the Science of Reading, maintain high expectations for student performance and collaborate well with peers. The applicant needs to possess a valid MO teaching certificate in Elementary Education. Tarkio offers board paid insurance, local and state paid career ladder, free staff membership to the Tarkio Activity Center, and a base salary of $38,100. Applicants are allowed to bring in all years of experience on the salary schedule.
