| Description: | The Reeds Spring School District is accepting applications for a counselor at the Reeds Spring High School for the 2023/2024 school year. Qualifications: Applicant must hold a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling, as well as a DESE Guidance and Counselor certification for grades 9-12. Job Requirements: Expectations include the ability to: work effectively as an individual and with others in reaching the goals of RSHS; counsel groups/individuals as needed; assist students with the development of educational and career plans; meet with teachers, staff, and parents regarding the needs of students; oversee local, state and national assessments, and assist with new student enrollment and student records. Effective communication skills are a must. Applicant must be able to perform all duties of a high school counselor. Reeds Spring High School has an enrollment of approximately 600 students in grades 9-12 and employs approximately 65 teachers.
