| Description: | Galena-Abesville Elementary School is currently seeking a self-motivated individual who will strive to provide a classroom with high expectations for student learning. Galena R-II utilizes the four-day school week. Galena also offers a staff paid daycare for its employees. We are located in beautiful northern Stone County. In-district, staff-funded daycare is available. Potential candidates need to possess an elementary education certification (1-6) for the 2024-25 school year. Applicants should have knowledge of Missouri Learning Standards, instructional technology applications, and the ability to effectively manage student behaviors. Additionally, prospective educators should be able to create a positive and nurturing educational climate for students, develop effective, cooperative professional relationships with fellow staff members, as well as a commitment to educating and serving the needs of our students. | |
