| Description: | The Lewis County C-1 School District is accepting applications for the 2022-23 school year for the position of 7-12 Art Teacher,QUALIFICATIONS:Valid Missouri teacher certificate for appropriate level (Art K-12) or such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. Lewis County C-1 is more commonly known as Highland High School and home of the Cougars, the rural district and is located in the northeast corner of Missouri. The High School building is on highway 6 in Lewis County and is centrally located to larger cities (approximately 20-25 miles from Hannibal, Canton, and Quincy (IL) and is about 50 miles east of Kirksville). Lewis County C-1 has a rich tradition of excellence in education, athletics, and the arts. We are a PLC practicing school district and fully expect our administration, faculty, and staff to work collaboratively, utilize data-driven decision making, and practice proven strategies to focus on what is in the best interest of our students above everything else. Enrollment in grades 7-12 is approximately 400 students. | |
