| Description: | Penney High School is seeking a dynamic full-time English-language Arts Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators for the 2023-2024 school year. Coaching opportunities could be available as well. Penney High School is located in Hamilton, MO which is about 40 miles East of St. Joseph, MO, at the intersection of 36 Highway and Highway 13. We have an enrollment of approximately 200 students. Course load will be determined by the candidate’s strengths in comparison to our other two ELA teachers. The teacher currently in the position teaches ELA courses along with sections of Spanish, being foreign language certified would be a plus. PHS is on a block schedule which allows for 90 minutes of plan each day. Full 9-12 ELA Certification is preferred, but we would be willing to consider teachers with other certifications or alternative certification candidates. | |
