| Description: | The Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking a highly qualified individual for the position of Middle School Functional Skills Program Special Education Teacher. The Functional Skills program supports students who require specialized programming focused on essential and foundational skills. Students often have goals in the areas of communication skills, adaptive behavior, functional academics, and social skills. Qualifications: Missouri Teaching Certification - Special Education Grades K-12 Salary: Dependent on level of education and years of teaching experience. Nineteen years of previous teaching experience will be accepted toward placement on salary schedule. Benefits: District paid employee medical, dental, and life insurance (with option to purchase coverage for spouse, children, or family). Employee option to purchase voluntary benefits including vision insurance, short term disability, long term disability and other supplemental insurance policies. 10 Days Paid Time Off per year. District matched retirement contribution of 14.5% to Public School Retirement System (PSRS). | |
