| Description: | South Holt R-I is accepting applications for a part time or full time school nurse for the 2023-2024 school year. Applicants must hold a degree in nursing (BSN/RN preferred). The school nurse oversees the individual health needs of students and provides appropriate care for ill, injured, or medically fragile students. The school nurse works with families, healthcare providers, and school personnel to meet the needs of all students. The nurse’s duties include, but are not limited to: maintaining various medical records, administering medications, conducting medical screenings, maintaining immunization records, developing and communicating individualized student medical plans, providing staff training (EpiPen, CPR, etc.), communicating with outside health agencies, and providing health education to students. | |
