| Description: | The Richmond R-XVI School District is accepting applications for a middle school assistant principal position for the 2023-2024 school year. The assistant principal is responsible for providing assistance to the principal in the administration of the total school program. Qualification for the position include a Master's Degree or Specialist Degree related to educational administration; valid principal certificate or eligibility to obtain in the State of Missouri and five years successful experience as a classroom teacher and/or administrative/supervisory experience. A working knowledge of Professional Learning Communities is preferred. The ability to communicate with students, parents and colleagues in a positive and effective manner is essential. The Richmond R-XVI School District is an accredited 3A school district, located approximately 45 miles northeast of Downtown Kansas City, MO with just under 6,000 residents and a PK-12 population of approximately 1500.
