| Description: | The Scott County Central School District is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Early Childhood Special Education Classroom and Bus Aide for the 2022-2023 school year. Required: 60 college credit hours, or who have a passing score on the Paraprofessional or ParaPro Assessment (MEGA), or a valid DESE issued Substitute Certificate. Duties include but are not limited to: Riding the bus to and from school with the students. Assisting students as needed to get them in their child restraint seat and buckled correctly. Assisting individual students in performing activities indicated by the teacher or therapists. Assisting the teacher with behavior management. Assisting students with personal care, including toileting, feeding, and hygiene as needed. Performing clerical tasks such as lunch count, making copies, etc. Collaborate effectively as a team member to support student/classroom learning and activities. Communicate and work effectively with peers, classroom teachers and administration.
