Description:  SUMMARY: Analyzing, collecting and entering data into the Missouri Core Data/MOSIS system required to determine the school district’s accreditation, attendance audit, and all other data required by the state of Missouri. Processes accounts payable and maintains associated vendor and invoice files for the District. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: other duties may be assigned. Accounts Payable: Monitors all purchase orders and expense vouchers to determine correctness of information, price extension, coding information, and other pertinent information. Receives and gets pay approval for all invoices to be paid in due time. Prepares, enters, and records disbursements of district budget funds. Maintains a regular filing system of all paid bills. Receives telephone calls as necessary. Maintains equipment. Cooperates with auditors and provides information to them as requested. Maintains vendor list on computer. Prepares and submits monthly food service claims to the State for reimbursement – SFSP, DESE, etc.. Prepares free and reduced reports to be distributed to appropriate personnel. Prepares SFSP, and DESE food service applications and various other forms, reports and applications including food service inspections. Performs annual verification audit. Provides information to the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent as needed. Provides information to DESE, SFSP, etc. for the three year CRE audit and numerous annual reports. Calculates meal costs annually. Trains staff for food service programs. Serves as Workers’ Comp claims coordinator. Prepares and mails workers’ compensation report of injury; maintains records. Prepares yearly workers’ compensation audit. Makes all deposits at the banks and posts to proper accounts Core Data: Expertise of SISK12 Student Information System. Responsible for analyzing, collecting and reporting all district data to the state of Missouri for six annual cycles of input for the Missouri Department of Education. Prepare and disseminate data collection forms for all buildings in the Knob Noster School District. Examine and correct district data for each cycle before submitting it to the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Core Data System. Collaborate with district administrators analyzing data findings impacting district APR. Attend training, workshops and webinars related to Core Data/MOSIS. Completes registrations, reservations and subscriptions for administrators. Respond to a variety of inquiries from district personnel to resolve problems and provide information. Prepares a variety of written materials (e.g. plans, reports, analyses recommendations, procedures, needs assessments, etc..) for the purpose of documenting activities and issues, meeting compliance requirements, providing audit references, and/or providing support materials for requested purposes. Responsible for the collection, compilation, and input of descriptive statistics for the Knob Noster School District. Responds to edits provided via the web and/or through state reports. Provides notary public services for the district. Meet and greet the public in a courteous manner. Regular and dependable attendance. Proficient in SISK12 Student Information System, Microsoft Office and Google Docs. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret various documents, journals and medical reports as they relate to the education of a student. Be able to communicate related information about a student.
