Putnam County Elementary is currently seeking applicants to fill a teaching vacancy in the position of Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Qualified candidates’ responsibilities may include but are not limited to attaining certification in Early Childhood Special Education, case managing students with Individualized Education Plans, writing and collecting data for IEP goals, and leading IEP meetings. The instructor will evaluate student progress and maintain classroom management to ensure student engagement and learning. Putnam County R-I is a rural district with approximately 280 students in Prek-5th grade. We are located just south of the Iowa border at the junction of State Highways 5 and 136. Putnam County has outstanding community support, and it shows in our excellent facilities. PCR-I students are one-to-one with Chromebooks grades 2-12 and all teachers use Google Suite in their classrooms. The successful candidate should hold a valid Missouri teacher’s certificate in Early Childhood Special Education, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to efficiently collaborate on a team. The start date for this position is early August 2024. Our 2023-24 base teacher salary was $38,000 with the possibility of a base increase for the 2024-2025 school year. The Brookfield R-III School District is seeking highly-qualified applicants for an opening as a PK Early Childhood/T1 Reading Teacher. Certification Requirements: Valid Missouri Educator Certificate for appropriate level (Early Childhood Birth - Grade 3) or such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. Salary Schedule Range: $34,500 - $59,000. The District currently participates in the MO Teacher Baseline Salary Grant ($38,000 minimum) and Career Ladder (Stages 1-3).
