We are the 2nd high school in the state to sign on with the Missouri Department of Economic Development for the National Career Readiness Certificate. Located on Interstate 44, Sarcoxie has 1,400 residents, many of whom travel 15 minutes to Carthage, 25 minutes to Joplin, or 45 minutes to Springfield for work. The school has about 800 students and is nearing a 70% free and reduced lunch population. We also have a 20% special education population.
