The Tri-Lakes Special Services Cooperative has an immediate opening and is seeking applications for Special Education Paraprofessional positions. The Tri-Lakes Special Services Cooperative serves 15 member districts. Current openings are for early childhood special education for the remainder of the 16-17 school year. Qualified applicants must have 60 college credit hours, completion of the Para-Pro Assessment Test or such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. Experience in special education is preferred. The ability to be flexible, patient, and understanding of the unique needs of students with disabilities is a must. Provide personal care assistance to students, as directed, such as toileting, feeding, and cleaning, as needed. Toileting may include toilet training, supervision, and changing of diapers/clothing as needed. Additional responsibilities will be driven by the specific needs of the student.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Coordinate the implementation of Universal Screening Measures (Aimsweb and Star Reading, Math and Early Literacy) Train and collaborate with elementary RtI Teams on the appropriate use of data in making educational decisions. Coordinate the selection and implementation of the Research-Based Interventions for Tiers 2 and 3. Conduct district-wide fidelity checks on the Research-Based Interventions Collaborate with the elementary RtI Teams to insure the appropriate implementation of Fair Grove’s RtI Model. Collaborate with elementary RtI Teams insuring the appropriate use of the Problem Solving Team model. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide reports on Rti implementation as requested by administration.
