Sarcoxie R-II is a school committed to helping our children successfully attend college, a vocational school, or become employed with work-ready skills. We are the 2nd high school in the state to sign on with the Missouri Department of Economic Development for the National Career Readiness Certificate. Located on Interstate 44, Sarcoxie has 1,400 residents, many of whom travel 15 minutes to Carthage, 25 minutes to Joplin, or 45 minutes to Springfield for work. The school has about 800 students and is nearing a 70% free and reduced lunch population. We also have a 20% special education population. Sarcoxie is looking for excellent educators who want to challenge themselves while serving kids who need the best teachers Missouri has to offer. Wildwood Elementary serves PK-5 in a clean, historic building built by the WPA in 1939 with new wings added in the last few years as we have grown. Progressive rural school seeks an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and skilled elementary teacher for the 2018-19 school year.
