The Behavior Team will be located in a district but will not be part of the district. The Behavior Intervention Coach will be part of a classroom that will be limited to no more than 6-8 children. Each classroom will also have a Certified Teacher and Board Certified Behavior Analyst to complete FBA’s, train, and write the behavior plans. The Behavior Intervention Coach will work one on one with students who have challenging behaviors and will be responsible for implementing curriculum, implementing a behavior plan and general supervision. Districts contract with Learning Momentum to provide programming and the district is required to send the work for the student to keep them up to date with their class. Most students will eventually transition back to their classroom in the public school sometimes with their coach. Learning Momentum will also pay for classes and provide supervision to obtain certification in Applied Behavior Analysis for a SELECT number of candidates.
